Properties of Physical and Chemical changes

Formation of new substance	No new substances are formed. The molecules of the substances remain the same before and after the change.	New substances with different properties are formed. The molecules of the substances undergo changes to form molecules of new substances.
Nature of change	Most physical changes are temporary and can easily be reversed.	Chemical changes are permanent and cannot easily be reversed.
