Why do our ears pop?
Our ears pop when we are on top of a high mountain or when the aeroplane we are sitting in takes off and flies at a great height. This is because at a higher altitude, the amount of air decreases. As a result, air pressure also decreases. This causes our ears to pop in order to balance the outside air pressure with the pressure inside our ears.
